Inspiring Future Innovators: Highlights from Our Exciting STEM Drone Workshop

We are excited to share the success of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Program held on 18 May 2024, a collaborative effort by IPG Batu Lintang, Creative Culture UNIMAS, PPD Padawan, and PPD Samarahan. This enriching event brought together 300 PT3 students from SMK Batu Kawa, SMK Jalan Arang, SMK SG. Tapang, and SMK Datuk Patinggi Abdul Gapor for an unforgettable experience.

The highlight of the program was the engaging drone workshop. Students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in drone technology, learning the basics of drone mechanics, building drones from scratch, and piloting them. The workshop perfectly blended educational rigor with enjoyable chaos, ensuring that students not only gained valuable technical skills but also had a fantastic time. The excitement was palpable as drones buzzed overhead, piloted by enthusiastic students eager to test their newfound skills.

This STEM program was more than just a workshop; it was a platform for students to envision their future in STEM fields. By providing them with practical experience and a taste of real-world technology, we hope to inspire these young minds to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
