Gamification Centre Brings STEAM Learning to Life at Tunku Putra HELP

As part of the National Primary STEM Week, the Gamification Centre team had the pleasure of engaging with nearly 200 bright and curious students at Tunku Putra HELP through two hands-on, STEAM-based learning activities.

Designed for students aged 7 to 12, the activities introduced fundamental concepts in binary code and the Fibonacci sequence—but with a creative twist. By blending art with science and technology, the sessions offered students a unique opportunity to explore these topics through interactive play and imaginative expression.

The aim was simple yet impactful: to ignite curiosity, promote creativity, and build a strong foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Using colour, shapes, and patterns, students visualized how binary numbers function in computing, and how the Fibonacci sequence appears in nature and design.

Throughout the sessions, students were encouraged to question, experiment, and express themselves—developing not only academic understanding but also confidence and enthusiasm for learning. The energy in the room was contagious, and it was inspiring to witness the students dive into each challenge with excitement and determination.

At the Gamification Centre, we believe that learning through play is a powerful way to nurture resilience and spark lifelong interest in STEAM. We are proud to contribute to the growth of young learners and look forward to more opportunities to make education fun, engaging, and meaningful.
